felted slippers

Here is the picture of the slippers that I have made for Christmas presents. This is the pre felting picture, I haven't felted them yet I think I have enough yarn to make a second pair so will attemt to make a second pair then will felt them both. I have placed a dvd case with them to show the pre-felting size. I will post a second picture when they are felted

Christmas gift 1 finished

Completely finished a Christmas gift. It is a tie for Mark, Tom's brother in law. I use a yarn I bought when visiting Nancy in North Carolina. It is a nylon ribbon yarn in shades of blue. It wasn't very thick maybe an 1/8 of an inch at the most, very slippery to work with kept slipping off the spoon it can on.

Happy 4th of July

Almost has the slippers done working on the instep of the second one I hope to finish today and felt in the near future. This is some of the yarn I bought while I was visiting Nancy. I will have pictures soon. I recently bought an item off Ebay and feel I got a good deal paid a total of 36 dollars for a yarn winder it arrived this past weekend and appears to be in good shape and in good working order, haven't used it yet. I have some yarn that was balled but had to wash it so it is in a hank now so will ball that soon.
